The Role
* To contribute technical expertise and to perform a range implementation activities within the Company 's sites and installations which supports the development of Ooredoo Telecom's GSM network.
* The Senior level will execute many of the same activities as the Junior and Mid level, but in addition, will typically work on more complex, larger and higher importance/impact projects. The Senior level will also typically be expected to deliver highly optimal results as a product of broader and deeper experience.
Key Accountabilities and Activities
* Execute acceptance of a system or sub system in Ooredoo Telecom's Mobile Network.
* Report faults, collect data and anticipate to the symptoms.
* Provided support, trouble shoots, resolves hard ware (HW), soft ware (SW), and FW problems and provides proper tracking mechanism.
* Conduct feedback meetings with ooredoo Telecom staff and vendors.
* Support, coordinate and manage all actions with Base Station System (BSS) staff.
* Perform acceptance testing.
* Assists the manager to further develop the implementation methodology in order to enhance and tackle all the obstacles that may occur in the project during the implementation process.
* Produce the complete site documentation with rack design layout with all details required.
* Provide full cooperation with the civil works - rollout team leader in order to follow all the project elements.
* Key responsibility in the upkeep of all installation, sites and equipment.
* Ensure implementation contractor compliance with terms and conditions of implementation contracts and delivery of service to required standards.
* Meet quality and performance KPI with supporting documents.
* Provide active support to other ooredoo Telecom departments.
* Ensure that upper management is informed on all critical issues pertaining to the area responsible for.
* Provides reports, make standard reports and tailor make them where necessary.
* Provide and manage support on special projects as and when assigned by seniors and superiors.
Assists the management in developing and implementing procedures and standards
that will provide effective workflows.
* Proactively take responsibility for self improvement by staying well-informed of developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise.
* Other duties as directed by supervisor or other superiors.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Engineering (Telecommunications) or related discipline
and appropriate registration with a recognised professional institute
