Job Purpose
Reporting directly to the Sr. HSEQ Engineer, the incumbent is responsible for
delivering the required HSEQ support & programs to the Retail Operations &
Marketing team to improve their behavior & culture. He/ She would be
responsible to track & monitor the HSEQ performance as per the HSEQ Annual
Plans and support the Sr. HSEQ Engineer in all administration issues and
regulatory requirements as & when required.
Principal Accountabilities
‎1)Assist Sr. HSEQ Engineer and the Retail team in the development of the HSEQ
Annual Plans of Retail Operations & Marketing by collection of information,
analyzing of data and drafting the plans for both UAE & KSA.
‎2)Review and deliver the different HSEQ trainings modules to Retail Operations
team & Contractors as per the TNA & annual plans.
‎3)Support Sr. HSEQ Engineer in the review and update of such training modules
periodically to ensure the effectiveness of the programs based on the updated
risk profiles, new activities, new equipment and lessons learned from previous
incidents.
‎4)Support & coach the Retail HSEQ Inspectors in fulfilling all the planned
inspection programs of Retail Sites and staff accommodations periodically and
provide regular feedback and follow up on the actions closure of such
Inspections.
‎5)Support Retail Sr. HSEQ Engineer & BU's in reviewing all legal requirements
related to the Retail Operations & ensure compliance to the same.
‎6)Provide support and follow up on the requirements related to the
Environmental Protection with Dubai Municipality such as Environmental Impact
Assessment, Environmental Site Assessment and support HSEQ Projects Manager in
securing environmental clearance from authorities for new projects, rebuild
and existing sites.
‎7)Carry out risk assessments for all the activities within Retail Segment,
including Maintenance and Contractors activities & periodically review such
risk assessments to ensure existing controls are in place and are adequate.
‎8)Provide the support to the Retail Sr. HSEQ Engineer in the development,
reviews and update of all HSEQ-related procedures and guidelines to ensure the
effectiveness & compliance of such procedures.
‎9)Liaise with the Group Sustainability office with regards to the Retail
Segment Compliance requirements.
‎10)Facilitate the periodic Retail Safety Committee meetings, recording of
minutes of meetings and follow up for closure of agreed action items.
‎11)Support the RBU team in conducting all campaigns & programs to improve
their safety culture through public safety campaigns and other related
activities.
‎12)Support the Retail Segment in the review and verification of the HSEQ
performance through the monthly monitoring & tracking of the key performance
indicators (KPI's) related to each BU as per the HSEQ Annual Plans committed
to ENOC GHSEQ.
‎13)Support the Sr. HSEQ Engineer & the nominated Investigation Teams in
conducting Incidents/Accidents investigation processes, follow up closure of
recommendations & maintain and review the accident trend analysis. Support
sharing lessons learned from previous incidents through the Safety Talks and
HSEQ alerts.
‎14)He/ She is the focal point of the Document Control system related to Retail
Segment.
‎15)Support the review & implementation of the Retail Integrated Management
System (IMS) & ISO ‎50,001 in coordination with Quality & Business Excellence
Department.
Experience
Education: Bachelor degree as a minimum in Business Administration or
equivalent;
HSEQ-related certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, etc. will be extra credit;
Work Experience: ‎3 - ‎5 years of relevant experience in Retail field
operations including hands-on experience in managing Retail Sites Operations.
Behavioral & Functional Competencies: Good communication and presentation
skills are required. Knowledge of office Automation products (MS XL, Word &
PowerPoint) is required.
