CORE Accountabilities:
Execution: Use company-wide and functional codes, standards and working
practices in order to define specific HSE tasks related to Business Operating
Procedures (BOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs). Provide a support service as
required by the HSE/Business Unit/Project Manager or proposal lead in the
provision of technical HSE information, which will enhance company turnover
and profitability (margin). Authorise HSE Plans to suit the requirements of
the customer/contract.
Support the implementation of environmental management strategies to promote
sustainable development.
Typical Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. NEBOSH Diploma certification is a minimum requirement with associated
membership (e.g. Technical Member) of a recognised professional institution
(e.g. IOSH, IEMA)
2. Knowledge and understanding of CDM (or equivalent in country on/and/or
regulations), HS&E; legislation, company products and services and the QHSE
Management System
3. Effective application of codes and standards related to inspection
requirements and HSE procedures 4. Knowledge and understanding of management
techniques including leadership, influencing and organisin
