Company requires, full time position for a Document Controller, to be part of
an existing team of personnel, based in the Client Deliverables Department.
Ideally the controller would have an earth science-based background and have
experience in collaborating with companies in the offshore construction Oil &
Gas sector.
Geo data and related documentation is prepared and formatted for submission to
client's dedicated PDMS systems. Candidate will be required to maintain,
organise, and update a variety of documents and data files, scanning,
uploading, and downloading and securing appropriate information. Exceptional
organisation skills are paramount to the position.
Raw and processed project data is required to be managed, documented, and
archived in a safe and secure manner. Digital archiving and recovery from a
library of secured resources is a fundamental part of the candidate's work
scope.
Additionally, the position will require adherence to specific KPIs, and that
the statistical assessment of these activities are evaluated for the
department.
Projects can be regional, requiring the Controller to work within time zones
plus or minus two hours of UAE time, and occasionally varying weekends.
The candidate must have expert skill level of Microsoft Office 365, Word,
Excel, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat software. Ideally experience of video review
packages and AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation would be a bonus.
