Finance Manager - Global Shisha

What this position is about - Purpose:
The incumbent will be responsible for the Entity statutory, financial
accounting and reporting requirements (Monthly P&L and B/S Closing and
Corporate Reporting) and the Entity planning ( LE/OL/ASP), Controlling and
overviewing the daily and monthly financial / accounting operations for the
Entity ( Entity accounting - Local and IFRS ) and solidifying JTI policies and
procedures through developping the right processes and policies to ensure that
the entity and market operates in accordance with JTI Operating guidelines and
optimal control is in place.
This position requires strong technical skills in Entity management coupled
with excellent and strong communication skills,the ability to work cross
functionally with high quality standards and challenge status quo to drive the
business agenda.

What will you do - Responsibilities:
* Manage corporate financial accounting activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and accounting standards.
* Lead Entity planning (LE/OL/ASP) for Dubai.
* Oversee financial, corporate, and statutory requirements (CBCR, JCFC, VAT, Corporate Income Tax).
* Coordinate SAP implementation for the new Entity in Dubai, collaborating closely with the SAP Project Manager.
* Monitor financial/operational risks and maintain compliance with local regulations and Corporate requirements.
* Coordinate with local authorities, banks, external consultants, auditors, and HQ Team.
* Develop, align, maintain, and enforce local policies and procedures in line with JTI corporate operating guidelines.
* Ensure documentation of all processes, company policies, and procedures, with adequate accounting/systems manuals.
* Lead the yearly audit for Dubai Entity, providing requested financial data and ensuring timely completion.
* Take full ownership of internal audits, coordinating with business partners and ensuring follow-up.
* Provide full support to the Finance Director on ad hoc requests and tasks.
* Offer cross-functional support to all departments through collaboration, knowledge transfer, and sound financial and accounting input.

Who are we looking for - Requirements:
* University Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting (a Master's degree is a plus).
* ‎4 to ‎5 years of experience in a similar Accounting function in a multinational organization.
* Strong Accounting background and Audit experience, preferably in the tobacco or FMCG industry.
* Fluent in English (spoken/written).
* Solid experience in accounting.
* Strong MS application skills, especially in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of SAP4 functionalities, GAAP, and JSOX.
* Ability to manage deadlines under tight time pressure.
* Proactive, creative, and flexible attitude.
* Strong communication and analytical skills, and a good team player.
