AIRWORTHINESS REVIEW OFFICER

Job Purpose: To co-ordinate Airworthiness Review Certification (ARC) functions
and provide technical support to the ARC department to ensure ARC review
processes are completed in accordance with the GCAA regulatory requirements
and in a timely manner. Job Outline: - To proactively seek out process
enhancements and improvements and contribute to the development of new work
processes. Ensure the effective implementation of the use of IT tools and
digital data for the smooth and efficient running of the ARC department. -
Monitor GCAA CAR manuals, press releases and public notices for relevant
updates to regulations that impact the ARC review process and highlight these
to the ARC Manager to initiate amendments of internal exposition, maintenance
procedures manuals and approved forms to meet the regulatory requirements. -
Co-ordinate with the CAMO office to complete the online GCAA applications for
the aircraft Certificate of Registration, Certificate of Airworthiness, Noise
Certificate, Aircraft Station Licence and Mode S code reservation after
verifying the status of Type Certificate Data Sheets (TCDS), Flight Manuals,
Maintenance Manual, Master Minimum Equipment List (MMEL) and Minimum Equipment
List (MEL) supplements and any other relevant documents for new and in-service
aircraft. - Liaise with the CAMO office for timely ARC application and
payment. Support the ARC review and upload ARC documents to the GCAA
E-services portal and archive all ARC records. - Schedule and manage the ARC
calendar and ensure timely acquisition of relevant technical documents from
the CAMO office for the ARC review and ensure that the renewed certificates
are placed on board the Aircraft. - Support the department audits by the GCAA
or by internal/external auditors. - Manage the fleet radio license renewal and
coordinate with relevant stakeholders for the timely renewal of radio license
and ensure the renewed certificates are placed on board the Aircraft. -
Responsible for the safe keeping of ARC process records for each aircraft that
cover details such as Aircraft Registration, Manufacturers Serial Number,
expiry/renewal dates of the certificates, Maximum Take-Off Weight and fees
paid.
Qualifications & Experience: Engineering: ‎5+ Years Experience in Engineering
Knowledge/skills: - Higher Education holders require less years of experience.
- Degrees should ideally be in an Engineering / Aeronautical / Mehanical /
Electrical discipline. - UAE driving licence and/or Dubai Airports driving
permit required. - - Experience in a commercial airline environment, ideally
in an aircraft maintenance and repair or quality assurance section. - -
Knowledge of ARC procedures and processes essential. - - Knowledge and
experience with EFTAs CAMO and maintenance procedures preferred. - - Air
Legislation for UAE GCAA requirements. - - Microsoft Office. - - Aircraft GCAA
