Chief Mate / Deck Officer
The position has the following direct responsibilities:
1. Carry out captain's and higher mate's orders
2. Maintaining a navigational watch at sea
3. The planning of voyages including preparation of all charts and
publications required
4. The correction and upkeep of Navigational Charts and Nautical and
Reference Publications
5. The upkeep of all bridge equipment
6. The Supervision of mooring and anchoring of the vessel as directed by the
Master
7. Administering and maintaining the medical welfare of the ship complement
8. The maintenance of the ship's breathing and resuscitation equipment
9. Any other duties assigned to him by the Master
Skills/Qualifications:
Requirements:
* Master Mariner STCW-95 Regulation II/2 (para 3,4, 500grt-3,000GT)
* Whitelist
* CDC from country of Nationality
