We are looking to recruit an operations assistant to provide administrative
support to the operations of our Dubai office.


To provide a high level of efficient, client-focused and professional office
and administrative support to the operations of our Dubai office. To play a
key role in the team to ensure that peaks and troughs of workload are
smoothed.
Key responsibilities and deliverables
Office Operations
* Ensures client meeting spaces are immaculate, fully stocked and well maintained.
* Ensures kitchen, offices, reprographics room and general office area is kept tidy and free from obstruction.
* Coordinates and performs office moves of furniture, personal items, documents and computer equipment as required.
* Performs general handyman and maintenance tasks which do not require an external professional.
* Controls stationary inventory and deals with vendors to place orders when necessary.
* Ensures copiers and printers are stocked with paper and toner.
* Delivering, collecting and distributing documents and post.
* Provide cover for office driver if necessary.
General Administration
* Provides general administrative support to the team as required including printing, filing, word processing, copying, scanning and binding.
* Provide cover for other colleagues in the business services and support team where necessary.
* Provide support to projects on an ad-hoc basis as required.
Key requirements (Communication/skills/experience)
Essential
* Minimum ‎1-‎3 years office experience (preferably in a professional services environment).
* Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
* Friendly and helpful customer service approach.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritise and act on own initiative.
* Able to work fast to tight deadlines.
* Able to work autonomously.
* Flexible and proactive approach.
* Ability to adopt a flexible and proactive approach and retain a professional attitude under pressure.
* Intermediate IT skills.
* Able to produce high quality Word and basic excel documents.
* Willingness to broaden experience and develop skills further.
* Willingness to work overtime and/or outside of normal working hours including weekends as required.

Desirable

* Valid UAE driver 's license
* Sound knowledge of legal environment.
* Experience of working in a legal environment.
