About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a
Coordinator, Engineering for our luxury hotel's pre-opening phase. As the
Coordinator, Engineering, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and
managing various engineering projects, ensuring the smooth functioning and
maintenance of all systems within the hotel.

Role Responsibilities:
* Assist the Manager, Engineering in coordinating and overseeing all engineering activities during the pre-opening phase of the hotel.
* Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants to ensure the timely completion of engineering projects, adhering to budget and quality standards.
* Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, fire safety, and energy management.
* Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
* Prepare reports and maintain accurate documentation of all engineering activities, including project progress, equipment maintenance, and repairs.
* Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source and procure necessary equipment, tools, and materials.
* Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising engineering staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in engineering and hotel operations.

Role Requirements and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in engineering coordination or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as building codes and regulations.
* Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
* Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Proficiency in using engineering software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
* Familiarity with sustainability practices and energy-efficient solutions.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
