Job Purpose
The Project Coordinator supports the assigned GIT project manager with many
tasks including planning, coordination, scheduling and execution of customer
projects.
The project coordinator will be responsible to provide the functional /
technical support during the requirements gathering, documentation, planning,
execution and testing of the project deliverables.
Job Responsibilities
Business Functional Analysis:
* Collect the business requirements and record them in the business requirements document.
* Liaising with the business & vendor in the preparation of the business process documentation.
* Prepare the business UAT scenarios in consultation with technical consultant/lead.
* Ensuring that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves and validate the acceptance of the product with the customer / business user.
* Evaluate product enhancements and their applicability / readiness for the business.
* Functional consultant on Travel business applications is an added advantage.
Project Coordination for ongoing projects:
* Assess the current IT implementations at ARG companies, and challenge business requirements.
* Coordinate the technical readiness of the product with the vendor and report its progress to the Project Manager.
* Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
* Report any roadblocks and issues/ risks to the assigned GIT project manager in timely manner.
* Provide Post Go-live support until product stabilization and handover the post go-live items to IT operations.
* Identify and inform any change in the scoping during execution to the assigned GIT project manager.
Business / GIT Relationship:
* Ensure that the Group IT policies, processes and standards are followed within the ARG entity.
* Classify new business requested initiatives into “Musts vs. Wants” considering business requirements.
* Assign priorities of the demands in consultation with business users.
* Identify the ad-hoc requests and get them approved/rejected by head of ARG entity.
* Act as project manager for certain new initiatives if assigned that role by GIT PMO (based on size of initiative)

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Experience
At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
Knowledge & Skills
Good experience in MS projects or similar applications.
