Head of Sales

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate a high performing sales team
* Managing Key Accounts and devising strategies to increase revenue across the portfolio
* Achieving revenue targets for events and wider product offerings, with a real focus on digital and sponsorship
* Setting and managing delivery against targets for the sales teams
* Creating and implementing sales plans for the portfolio
* Identify development areas and new business opportunities for the portfolio
* Support and promote sales excellence across the portfolio through coaching, training and sales system usage
* Preparing sales forecasts, pipeline management and reports for the portfolio
* Working closely with internal stakeholders (operations, marketing, finance, pricing, Brand leadership) to ensure successful delivery
* Overseeing revenue collection via credit control teams, and managing debt forecasts
* Contributing to the strategy of the portfolio
Ideal candidate profile:
* Proven track record of sales and management within a B2B environment
* Experience of Value Based Selling
* Success in achieving high-level targets for a large-scale event and/or online business
* Experience of people management, building and maintaining customer relationships and delivering growth
* Market knowledge of the travel industry preferable but not necessary
* Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels essential
* Passion for results and target driven
* Experience of working in a highly competitive, dynamic marketplace
* Strong knowledge and usage of Sales systems (Salesforce)
