Job Purpose: Summary: Emirates SkyCargo is a world-class air cargo carrier,
with a vast network of destinations, cutting-edge facilities, and a focus on
innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. We are seeking a Business Process
Manager to manage and facilitate the development of business processes for
Emirates SkyCargo express, courier and cargo operations through the continuous
review of strategic and operational practices and processes to identify
efficient, practical and productive ways of conducting business in line with
business goals, including but not limited to service delivery,
resource/equipment planning and allocation, system automation and business
standards. In this role, you will: - Work with management in setting up
systems to evaluate business unit performance against KPIs and lead operations
business units to identify areas of weak performance and support line
management in the design of performance improvement plans and setting relevant
business standards. - Lead the development of business processes to reflect
new working methods. Influence and interact with process owners, department
heads and corporate functions for effective implementation of redesigned
express and courier processes and make recommendations for long and/or short
term benefits. - Identify, streamline and lead system enhancements for
operations: conceptualise, define, and propose system requirements for
SkyCargo express, courier and cargo operations, ensuring maximum integration
with existing systems and eliminating any duplication. - Define and develop
business requirements for technology and automation in collaboration with the
operations and systems team. Ensure that business requirements are analysed,
challenged, understood and documented so that user requirements and defined
solutions meet business needs based on functional fit, development time and
cost. - Conduct audits to ensure that identified changes have been effectively
implemented. Ensure benefits from every improvement program are maximized and
that all business improvement objectives are achieved in relation to
qualitative and financial deliverables. - Continuously monitor and update
operational process changes due to people, commercial policy, handling
agreement, policy, facilities, systems, or device changes. Coordinate and work
with all internal/external stakeholders to ensure that everyone is well
prepared to handle the changes and align business goals. - Advise on
productivity and process improvement opportunities provide operational and
strategic business advice and influence operational departments to buy-in to
the strategies. Amend current practices, processes or policies to achieve the
identified cost savings and tangible results. - Drive innovative solutions and
ensure a collaborative approach with operations, systems, and external
stakeholders, including the use of all SkyCargo technological solutions -
Advise on productivity and process improvement opportunities and provide
operational and strategic business advice. Influence senior managers to ensure
that internal corporate departments buy-in to the strategies and amend current
practices, processes or policies to achieve the identified cost savings and
tangible results. - Ensure alignment between process, work instruction,
standard cargo handling procedure, and authority regulations. Educate and
increase awareness among managers, supervisors, front line staff on the
changing process, available tools, techniques and methodology of the ever
changing cargo operations.
Qualifications & Experience: To be considered for Business Process Manager
role, you must meet the below requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in either
Industrial Engineering or Business Administration - Minimum ‎8 years'
experience in air cargo, express, courier and logistics and supply chain
operations - Experience in Lean, Six sigma, and other process mapping tools is
preferred - Should have experience and knowledge on project management, lean
transformation initiative, change management in large organization - The ideal
candidate will possess expertise and familiarity in project management,
implementing lean transformation initiatives, managing change within a large
organization and setting KPI and relevant operational targets
