Facilities Supervisor

We are seeking to appoint a Facilities Supervisor for our brand-new UK
curriculum school in Dubai for September ‎2023. The School will be located in
Al Waha, Dubai, very close to Sustainable City as well as many other
attractive, expat Communities along the Al Qudra Road area. It will follow an
established GEMS brand, with unique features at a great fee point.

All teaching and leadership staff will be UK-qualified and experienced
international school teachers and leaders. The school will open for learners
from FS1 to Year ‎8 in the founding year, growing subsequently each year to
offer a through school curriculum within six years from its opening.
This position will report to the Manager School Operations and will assist the
MSO to effectively manage all non-education related activities within school
operations and will be fully responsible to effectively manage school
facilities. Responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to)
* Support the MSO in regulatory and health and safety compliance, stakeholder management and improving process efficiency
* Support the Facilities and Operations department in implementing staff related policies.
* Establish a good working relationship with support staff to ensure efficient task allocation and follow through on assignments
* Conduct regular, effective and purposeful support staff observations, with focused feedback to supervisors
The ideal candidate:
* will have a Bachelor's degree
* will have a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role or within a service oriented industry

Department heads on the actual release dates (from their current position of
responsibilities).
