Resource Management planning and performance manager, based in our Dubai
headquarters. The successful candidate will drive the standardisation and
implementation of resource management frameworks, standards and systems within
Airport Operations, working with our global executives, operations leads and
resource management community. You should be an experienced Resource
Management practitioner in aviation or a similar resource-intensive business.
A strong track record of bringing Resource Management to life at all levels of
the organisation is essential and you should be up-to-date with current trends
and technologies in this space. The role involves regular international
travel. Key accountabilities Plan - Work with business leaders to determine
the optimal people, equipment, and other resource requirements to support the
future business strategy; ensuring alignment of organisation design, job
design, skills or qualification profiles in line with manpower plans and
business operating models Deploy - Develops resource management frameworks,
standards and methodologies for implementation in airport operations
businesses to ensure effective and efficient utilisation of people, equipment
and facilities - Identifies and tracks metrics to measure the success of
manpower and equipment planning approach and implementation across dAO
businesses - Reviews business budgets related to labour or other resource
related costs, and monitors financial performance; recommending changes as
required to ensure delivery against cost and productivity targets - Agrees
optimal business rules and planning criteria with the business to support
effective Day of Operations - Establishes criteria for assessment of current
resource management systems and leads business efforts to plan, tender, select
and manage new systems Lead - Acts as SME in business manpower and resource
operating models, engagement standards, roster rules and safety protocols in
order to actively lead discussions related to new start-ups or change
projects, highlighting opportunities or challenging existing methods - Through
comprehensive analysis and external benchmarking, provide recommendations for
incremental improvements to our planning, rostering, pre-planning or
allocation practices across the division Execute - Support dnata executive and
leadership team in decision making by providing time sensitive, accurate and
appropriate insights into manpower trends, data analysis and system output -
Contributes to overall business case for new business opportunities in dnata
airport operations through leading the modelling and recommending proposed
resource plan - Accountable for extensive stakeholder management within and
outside dnata to ensure that there is compliance to all legislative
requirements and occupational health and safety requirements - Ensures there
is a single knowledge base for manpower planning activity and make it
available through appropriate channels to the business - Escalates critical
information or issues arising appropriately and in a timely manner, ensuring
that the details are accurate, any red flags have been highlighted and
operational considerations or recommendations have been suitably included
Qualifications & Experience: Experience - Airport Operations. Other 5 - 10
Years - Experience in airport operations within an international airline or
ground handling agent including at least 5 years in a managerial role - Prior
experience implementing a resource management system within a large
organisation is desirable. Qualifications - Degree or Honours (12+3 or
equivalent) Knowledge/Skills - Applied knowledge of advanced manpower planning
principles preferably with application in the airline industry or other
industries with typical large manpower bases, including trending &
forecasting, analytical skills, and test scenario generation - Current
knowledge of technological landscape relevant to resource management and
manpower planning - IE qualification including development of all relevant
techniques. System user training required on INFORM suite - Strong analytical
ability and diagnostic and problem solving skills - Effective communication
(written and verbal) and negotiation skills - Advanced planning and analytical
capability - Advanced computer literacy skills - Excellent written and verbal
communication skills, with powerful ability to persuade and influence people,
internally and externally, at all levels
