Overview:
IDC is seeking an Account Manager to create long-term trusting relationships
with our customers. The Account Manager is to oversee a portfolio of assigned
customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new
sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:
* Selling IDC's product portfolio, which includes research & consulting services and events for MEA region.
* Building and executing basic account business plans for defined accounts, focused on tactical plans within the Sales year. Shares and aligns the plan with relevant internal stakeholders.
* Influecing customer's/decision makers through describing the value of IDC's offerings and their relevance to the customer's priorities.
* Engaging with customers to identify opportunities. Translates customers' business challenges and goals into opportunities. Identifies and develops opportunities for short and mid-term success. Accountable for deal closure.
* Developing and updating knowledge of information technology and IDC's portfolio. Articulates relevant modern trends in IT.
Qualifications:
* University or bachelor's degree, technology education is a plus.
* Typically, 5-6 years sales experience.
* Experience in the Middle East market.
* Experience in IT industry preferred.
