The Position
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the
business plan for your geographical area which will be the eastern region, to
ensure that the company objectives and sales targets are achieved. You will
measure, track, evaluate and present key metrics: prescription depth and
breadth planning.
You are expected to contribute to the national business plan by achieving
targets through the implementation of marketing and promotion strategies aimed
at effectively presenting and promoting Novo Nordisk product(s) to healthcare
practitioners.
The role will require you to take an entrepreneurial approach and you will be
expected to operate with a high level of ownership.
You are expected to demonstrate a high level of understanding of customer
needs, anticipate and adapt action plans to maximize opportunities, and
address challenges excelling in making things happen through diligent and
timely follow-up. Work across different external stakeholders including but
not limited to KOLs, physicians, pharmacists, and hospital management.
Qualifications
We expect you to be holding a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and you are
certified to work by holding the Saudi Council Licence. You also have 0-2
years of experience in sales within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Also, intermediate computer skills are required (Windows, Word, and Excel);
prior computer experience using sales data/call reporting software will be
ideal. You have excellent command over both written and spoken English, and a
valid driving license and willingness to travel.

* We expect you to be a self-starter, one who can evaluate options and find resolutions on your own with minimal supervision.
* You have an aptitude for learning and an ability to communicate technical and scientific product and disease management information, as well as a value proposition for the product(s) under your responsibility.
* You also have an entrepreneurship mindset, you are a strong Influencer and an exceptional team player.
* Experience in Diabetes or Cardiovascular therapy areas will be a plus.
About the Department
The Diabetes Care Sales Team leads Novo Nordisk 's Diabetes product portfolio
in Saudi Arabia, which includes world-class therapies for the treatment of
diabetes and the reduction of adverse cardiovascular events. As part of the
team, you will be responsible to promote Novo Nordisk products and have
frontline exposure to our portfolio vision, business strategies, and critical
market insights that drive our business forward. You will drive the Novo
Nordisk GLP-1 portfolio strategy to ensure that the latest therapies and
products reach the people who need them most.
