Description
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Responsible for the registration, insurance verification and payments
collection from patients.Supporting Outpatients Supervisor. Maintaining and
improving outpatients operations by monitoring and supporting team
performance, identifying and resolving problems, preparing and completing
action plans, completing system audits and analysis, support in process
improvement with team and quality assurance programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
* To effectively and efficiently manage the patient appointment scheduling and registration process
* Effectively manage the billing and cash up process
* To consistently meet customer service expectations by improving the quality of patient service
* To inform and provide information regarding MCME hospitals and clinics, departments, physicians, directions and available services
* Document all complaints and report all incidents to the Supervisor in a timely manner to ensure continuous improvement of own services
* To comply my Mediclinic policies and procedures
* To provide a continuous high standard patient experience
* Support and assist supervisor to ensure functionality of operational requirements
Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Essential : High school
Desired : Diploma or Bachelor
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Essential : At least 1+ years ' experience in a customer service role,
preferable in a healthcare setting
Desired : 2+ years' experience in a customer service role in a healthcare
setting
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
* Proficient in verbal and written English
* Proficient in verbal and written Arabic
* Demonstrate computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, phones)
* Demonstrate ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in the correct manner
* Ability to communicate effectively
* Demonstrate the ability to work accurate and quickly
* Medical terminology
