Main Activities:
Responsible of planning, managing, and coordinating the logistics operations
of BRF from receiving the goods at the port until the delivery to the selling
points. Comprising the inbound, outbound, returns, and value-added services
management. This role aims to be a benchmark in the distribution center
efficiency and service level, assuring the implementation of the company
policies and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the development of the area's annual expenses budget and manage
it on a daily basis.
Participate in the selection and negotiation of the best rates in the short
and long term with different kinds of logistic service providers.
Manage the operations capabilities and process in order to maximize the
utilization of the resources.
Support inventory team by maintaining accuracy and sustainable inventory
control & management system.
Manage daily/weekly inventory cycle count.
Manage the quarterly inventory physical count in all stores.
Maintain product safety and fixed assets and handling of material in all
operation (warehouse and transportation).
Drive the order-to-cash cycle successfully in terms of flexible service
schedules, driving higher efficiency in the order processing and preparation,
and optimized response time to operational dynamics.
Coordinate regular and periodic meeting with sales in order to identify the
opportunities and offer customized services.
Coordinate and promote regular and periodic meetings with 3PL teams in order
to assure a regular and clear flow of communication (problems, procedures, EHS
Program, etc.).
Ensure day-to-day follow up with the last mile deliveries to the clients and
utilizing a real-time telematics system.
Synchronize warehouse's operations to match with the flow of materials,
information, and services among the internal Supply Chain.
Ensure efficient implementation of the SOP's (Standard Operating Procedure).
Plan and manage the weekly operations projection (stock, inbound, outbound) in
order to plan the proper resources.
Track monthly KPI's reports while reasoning any deviations from set objectives
and preparing action plan for improvements.
Ensure validity of Warehouse's related certificates and contracts including
(but not limited to): Civil Defense license, medical test certificates, labor
contracts, fire-fighting system maintenance, lease contract, pest control and
waste disposal.
Ensure a good working conditions to all employees in the warehouse operations.
Support Regional Logistics Excellence team with the implementation, audits,
and self-assessments for the Supplier Integration Program (SIP), and the
Logistics Excellence Program (LEP).
Check warehouse related invoices against supporting documents/contract/system
and in case of discrepancies, discuss them with the suppliers.
Submit warehouse invoices to the Logistics manager to sign.
Requirements:
Bachelors ' degree in Business, Engineering, or any related field.
Minimum of ‎3 years of experience in the logistic management of any FMCG
company and preferably a similar portfolio to BRF.
Flexibility to relocate between Riyadh and Dammam.
Knowledge & Skills:
Excellent communication skills in English.
Knowledge of using SAP systems.
Complex thinking, gap analysis and ability to deal with multiple stakeholders
in a multicultural environment.
