Job Purpose
Providing quality, timely and efficient translation of content characterized
by an average level of complexity and technical terminology. Contributing at
the Section and Division levels to activities concerning standardization,
technology, knowledge, and development.
Key Accountabilities & Activities
Translation
* Translating assigned documents

* Utilizing adequately adopted technologies

* Individual development plan
* Suggestions and proposals for Section and Division development plans
Knowledge acquisition and dissemination
* Active participation in knowledge acquisition and dissemination incidents as appropriate
Planning
* Individual performance plan
* Suggestions and proposals for Section and Division plans
Education Certification & Experience:
* Academic and Experience Qualification
* Bachelor’s degree in applied languages (interpretation and/or translation), linguistics or literature
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in editing, translating, interpreting or teaching applied languages
Languages:
* English - Mandatory
* French - Mandatory
* Arabic -Preferred
Skills & Necessary Knowledge
* Ability to adapt to changing business circumstances to maintain effective performance of the Section
* High degree of confidentiality and protection of sensitive information
* Ability to maintain a rational and objective demeanour when faced with difficult situations
* Ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively
* Strong command of IsDB three languages
* Advanced and comprehensive understanding of requirements, techniques in the field of language services
* Advanced hands-on information technology skills, particularly translation technology tools (terminology databases and translation memories) and productivity tools such as MS Office suite
* Organization skills
* Attention to detail, accuracy and consistency
