Job Purpose
Lead and supervise the IsDB Group health services team to ensure providing
quality international health coverage, quality medical services, occupational
health services, welfare and preventive health care programs for IsDB Group
active staff, retirees and dependents inside Headquarter, Regional Hubs and
Globally. Supervise and monitor the role of Third-Party Administrator and to
ensure providing quality management and availability of satisfactory world-
wide network. Lead regular update of IsDB Group active staff/retirees medical
policies to ensure providing world-class quality health services. Provide
leadership, supervision coaching for the HSC team and ensure maintaining
confidentiality of the medical records. Key Accountabilities & Activities
Medical Coverage for IsDB Group Active Staff & Dependents: *
* Lead health insurance team to ensure providing quality health insurance services for IsDB Group active staff and their dependents through self-management scheme
* Lead regularly enhancement of corporate medical insurance policies and procedures in line with IDBG vision and mission
* Manage medical audit and disbursement process for medical providers’ claims
* Develop a competitive packaged price lists for various levels of medical insurance services and benchmark with national and international medical market standard.
* Design, formulate and update medical insurance contracts with health care providers
* Design a process to ensure easy accessibility for medical insurance services through wide network health care providers
* Evaluate regularly contracted health care providers
* Develop quality control process for corporate medical insurance system
* Oversee IDBG medical insurance card system
* Design and participate in the development of a friendly user Health care medical Information system
* Develop an approval medical process in line with IDBG medical policies and procedures.
* Develop an in-patient hospital visit and follow-up program
* Develop and closely supervise maintaining patient’s confidentiality system
* Continuously communicate with IDBG staff for feedback and enhancement of corporate medical insurance services
* Produce regular analytical reports for Corporate Medical Insurance services.
* Participate actively in IDBG business continuity management program (BCM)
Medical Coverage for IsDB Group retirees & Dependents:
* Lead health insurance team to ensure providing quality worldwide health insurance services for IsDB Group retirees and dependents through Third Party Administrator (TPA)
* Lead regularly enhancement of retirees medical insurance policies and procedures
* Evaluate regularly the performance of the contracted ThirdParty Administrator to ensure providing quality management
* Periodic assessment and monitoring for TPA medical provider network
* Lead the agreement with TPA in collaboration with concerned department
* Ensure system integration between TPA and IsDBG in collaboration with concerned department
* Supervise utilization performance of the retirees health insurance scheme
* Produce regular analytical reports for health services utilization and identity trends
* Report plan utilization and recommend benefit changes to accommodate cost overruns
Decentralization of HSC services to Regional Hubs :
* Develop and administer medical services contracts in each RH
* Develop and audit RH medical reimbursements process and system
* Liaise with RH staff for feedback and enhancement of medical services
Medical and Occupational Health Services:
* Lead and Supervise the outsourced medical team to ensure providing quality medical services for IsDB Group staff and their dependents
* Lead and Supervise the outsourced part-time medical team in each Regional Hubs to ensure providing quality medical services for IsDB Group staff and their dependents
* Oversee and update medical lifesaving procedures in line with the international standers
* Supervise medication refill system for chronic diseases
* Maintain and supervise referral system for critical emergency cases throughout stabilization, referral notification safe ambulance transfer and follow up
* Maintain and supervise the ambulance readiness through maintaining availability of latest lifesaving ambulance equipment and medications to ensure safe transfer
* Ensure maintaining patient medical confidentiality
* Develop and update medical policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure provision of quality health care services
* Participate in the development of a friendly user medical IT system
* Supervise Medical audit of sick leave of staff
* Pre-employment fitness clearance
* Plan and supervise infection control process for general safety
* Plan and supervise provision of quality laboratory and pharmacy services
* Develop an in-patient hospital visit and follow-up program.
Welfare and Preventive Health Services:
* Lead and Supervise the Welfare team to ensure providing quality welfare and preventive health services for IsDB Group staff and their dependents at Headquarter and Regional Hubs
* Plan and Supervise for adult, paediatric, seasonal vaccination programs
* Plan and supervise for IDBG periodic medical check-up program
* Promote health awareness programs through intranet or regular awareness medical campaigns and lectures
* Develop and manage CPR training program for IsDBG volunteer staff and their dependents at Headquarter and Regional Hubs
* Participate in establishing precautionary medical measures for epidemics and pandemics in-line with international standards at Headquarter and Regional Hubs
* Oversee contracted Health Club network for the IsDBG staff and dependents
* Develop and supervise home health services initiatives related to epidemics and pandemics
Lead and Supervise other HSC services:
* Plan and Supervise IsDB Group events medical coverage
* Plan and Supervise Annual meeting medical coverage
* Plan and Supervise Adahi medical coverage
* HSC Helpdesk
* Musandah program
Leadership:
* Develop work team environment amongst HSC team
* Develop training needs for team development and future career enhancement
* Provide coaching and counselling HSC team
* Ensure regular monitoring of staff performance management system
Education Certification & Experience:

Academic and Experience Qualification
* Bachelor's degree in health-related field.
* Minimum ‎8 years of experience in health-related field.
