* Advise the client on the contracting strategy for the project
* Review submitted tenders and prepare tender report
* Administer contract between the contractor and the employer
* Make recommendations on the mitigation of risks identified in contract terms and conditions
* Develop and maintain contract commercial management procedures
* Administer all contractual correspondence between client and contractor
* Review Contractor's claims submissions, including EOT, and prepare Engineer's determination/decision
* Develop and manage change control procedures and raise necessary internal approvals for instructions and variations
* Administer monthly payment certification of the contractor
* Mentor and develop the skills of junior team members
Qualifications:
Qualification
* Must have a degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying with 15+ years ' experience with the last 3 to 5 years in a similar position
* Must be Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS), a post-graduate degree in construction law is desirable
* Experience in drafting contractual responses and Engineer's determination
* Good knowledge of FIDIC Red book and Yellow book contracts
* Experience in handling EOT claims and final account settlement
* FCIArb /MCIArb is an advantage
