We now seek to recruit a HSE Officer to implement, review and report on
all aspects of the health, safety and environmental (HSE) management systems.
To ensure HSE by all employed on the project (mainly Contractors &
Subcontractors) are adhered to in accordance with the contract documents,
relevant international standards and local/federal authorities' requirements
Purpose
To assist with the provision of a successful and proactive HSE Officer for
part of the SNC-Lavalin Saudi Arabia, Middle East business.
Responsibilities
* Making regular site inspections
* Planning safe working practices and making necessary changes
* Keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation
* Keeping up to date with developments within the profession
* Making presentations to groups of employees/managers.
* Providing health and safety training courses for employees and managers
* Investigating/recording incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health
* Writing internal health and safety policies/strategies
* Drawing-up safe operational procedures
Requirements
* Fluent in Arabic and English
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Customer service attitude.
* Diploma in HSE degree or above.
* Years of experience: 3
* Saudi national ( Only)
