Job Description
Our expanding Operations Team based in Saudi are looking for a new colleague
to join our team!
The role will be the focal point for the base staff within the workshop, which
would include Welders, Fabricators, Painters/Blasters, Electrical, Mechanical
and Hydraulic technicians and would also be responsible for setting up the
full workshop including all policies, processes and workflows.
As Workshop Manager, you will ensure safety and timely availability of
equipment within the facility for operational use by;
* Coordinating the maintenance, repairs, testing and calibration of equipment for operational use
* Providing technical leadership in the workplace
* Solving complex problems
* Ensuring operations are aligned with company and/or manufacturers standards and procedures
* Carrying out staff development, performance appraisal and training requirement duties
* Supervises all maintenance/workshop/yard activities and resources for one or more teams
* People Management is a main task of this position, works autonomously.
* Requires higher professional education (HBO/College) or equivalent or higher professional and intellectual capacities and has advanced and specialised expertise, typically developed through job-related training and considerable work experience (Electrical / Mechanical)
* Physical yard/workshop laydown planning/ organisation and documentation
* Technical advice and mentoring to base staff as required
* Good communicator in English
* Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar position
