This position is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Regional Medical Advisor,
you will be a member of the affiliate Clinical and Medical Department and you
will directly report to Diabetes Medical Manager.

The position
As a Regional Medical Advisor, you will be providing medical and scientific
support, education, and training across business area functions to external
customers, healthcare professionals, local opinion makers, and Novo Nordisk
staff (where appropriate). In addition, you will be ensuring Key Opinion
Leaders (KOLs) and specialists are aware and understand the scientific basis
and clinical usefulness of our compounds within the diabetes portfolio.

Key Accountabilities:
* You will be facilitating the development of symposia/meetings or education seminars for healthcare providers on subjects relevant to Novo Nordisk products/projects, and delivering presentations at local meetings, symposia, and external conferences
* You will be optimizing opportunities for relevant academic/professional collaboration in the interests of the current and future business needs and developing project proposals in support of a business case for local funding and initiatives
* You will be developing and maintaining relations with customers and target local opinion leaders/makers and major institutions in the local healthcare sector, building local credibility personally and on behalf of Novo Nordisk and Actively networking with local healthcare interests in line with current and future business needs
* You will be contributing to medico-marketing strategy and providing support for local business plans to promote the achievement of targets, and alignment of cross-functional business activities while ensuring compliance with the country-specific regulatory requirements and relevant legislation
* You will be developing professional relationships with key internal stakeholders and external ones to anticipate their needs and provide them with value-adding solutions involving Novo Nordisk products

Qualifications
As a Regional Medical Advisor, you need to be action-oriented with a strong
drive and focus on results, a team player who is customer-focused with good
peer relationships, and an innovative thinker with strong project management
skills.

Requirements:
* Minimum ‎1 - ‎3 years of experience in the medical affairs department within the pharmaceutical industry in a multinational organization.
* Bachelor's degree in Pharma is a must; Bachelor's degree in Medicine is a plus
* Experience in Diabetes is a huge plus
* Strong Communication skills, Strong professionalism, and dedication
* Excellent command over both written and spoken English and Arabic
