About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Technician to join the Engineering
department at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa Kuwait, and be responsible
for maintaining electrical works in the Hotel.

Main Duties:
* Checking and rectifying all lights reflecting the standard of the Hotel.
* Ensure all portable appliances are PAT tested as per the FLS matrix.
* Ensure all the work order, PPM & CWA's are executed and maintenance works as directed by the team leaders.
* To select correct material from engineering store and request for purchase for new items through the store keeper.
* To organize work in a skilled and professional manner.
* To advise supervisor promptly of any problem or challenges.
* To ensure safe working condition for self, colleagues and property and report any unsafe working condition.
* To ensure the work area are left in a safe and tidy condition.
* Read and understand basic drawings.
* Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering Department Policies, Process and Procedures.
* Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the Management.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and
qualifications:
* A minimum of ‎2 years' experience as an Electrical Technician in a hospitality environment.
* Knowledge in various trades experience would be an added value.
* Engineering certificate in related fields. At least ‎1 year formal training (certified).
* Knowledge of maintaining Fire, Life & Safety System and work order system.
* Good English communication skills.
