Description
Job Purpose
The primary purpose is to carry out collaborative activities with development
teams and experts that translate roadmaps into an active pipeline of
technology, experiences, and design projects, and provide strategic direction
in support of the business plan. -Responsible for managing the strategic
development and implementation of relevant product technologies, assess
present and future challenges faced by Gulf Bank and determine how they can be
resolved through breakthrough and incremental innovation.
Business Specific
* Performing detailed evaluations of internal & external technologies to ensure world-class technology development and utilization via various benchmarking activities.
* Leading the new product and technology introduction process and strategy. Coordinating between internal and business teams for successful product prototypes and launches.
• Ensuring appropriate partnerships and collaboration with business and
development teams to develop, monitor and recommend adjustments to current
platforms or introduce new functions/technologies based on market conditions
and trends. • Managing the product portfolio life cycle including development,
validation, launch and execution activities in support of the prototype or
product rollout • Ensuring input and supporting appropriate applications to
meet customer requirements.
* Providing leadership to ensure that all new technology innovations and intellectual property are protected and appropriately safeguarded in the marketplace.
* Collaborate with product managers across departments to recommend, monitor, and develop strategic initiatives.
* Analyze market conditions and trends, meeting vendors and evaluating latest technologies
* Perform evaluations of internal and external technologies and processes.
* Lead by example and set the environment for taking risks within the organization by addressing constraints and enabling resources.
* Coordinate product prototypes and launches with development and business teams.
Qualifications
Education & Qualification
Bachelor's degree Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related fields
Knowledge
Web, app development - Thorough understanding of the retail banking industry
and data processes. - Understanding of the web and app development tools
Experience
5-8 years of relevant experience in development or technical delivery role
