Job Scope:
Processes daily charges and payments, handles cash drawer and other payment
methods in an efficient and timely manner.
Job Responsibilities:
* Calculates pharmacy charges for billing.
* Receives and posts pharmacy charges and payments to patient billing software.
* Explains charges to patients.
* Processes deposits and cash drawer.
* Keeps records updated for reviews, audits, and contact purposes.
* Responsible for back billing pharmacy insurance and Medic-aid.
* Enters pharmacy third party payments in pharmacy computer.
* Prepares all required monthly reports.
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor University Degree in any field or Diploma holder.
* 2 to 4 years' experience in similar position
Job-Specific/Technical Skills:
* Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
* Knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques.
* Skill in preparing and maintaining patient records.
* Excellent Computer Skills, Word processing and/or data entry skills.
* Ability to interact and communicate with people over the telephone, often in stressful situations.
* Ability to develop and maintain filing systems.
* Knowledge of medical billing procedures.
* Knowledge of the nature and provisions of alternative health insurance plans.
* Receptionist skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills
Other Preferences :
* Preferably Bilingual
* Local candidates with valid and transferable visa in Kuwait
