A leading Kuwait based company has an immediate opening for the position of an
IT Help Desk Technician.
POSITION REQUIREMENT:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Salary- 350KD -400KD
Minimum 3 years hands- on support experience is required.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
The IT Help Desk Technician is responsible for maintaining, configuring,
installing, and troubleshooting of company owned hardware and software
systems. Provides IT related customer service and technical support to all
user’s company- wide.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Installs new or upgrade PC, printer, and accessory equipment for individual
users
Maintains an accurate inventory of all PCs and PC- related equipment.
Responds to assigned Help Desk tickets within established guidelines.
Maintains favorable customer relations by handling requests in a tactful,
timely and professional manner.
Empowers end users by training and educating.
Participates in after hours on- call rotation for the Production Support
group.
Interacts with network services and/or applications development teams
Maintains current and high level of technical skill in field of expertise.
Escalates more complex problems using Departmental resources and Product
Support
Performs other duties as assigned.
Vendor- certified courses in current Microsoft Operating Systems/Cisco are
preferred.
Regular and timely attendance is required
Working knowledge of PC hardware, network printers, and phone systems.
Working knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office
products.
Strong troubleshooting and problem- solving skills.
Must be able to effectively communicate with individuals within all levels of
the organization.
Must be dependable and motivated.
