Purpose of the Job
Responsibilities
* Registers all items received / issued in the receiving / issuing reports.
* Maintains the coding system of the items in the warehouse for easy identification.
* Issues periodic inventory reports.
* Ensures pin locations are clear and visible for all materials.
* Arrange return of defective items and items due to be repaired;
* Ensure all hazardous materials are stored, handled and disposed of safely & correctly in accordance with company procedure and legal requirements;
* Manage all deliveries and collections of materials, spare parts, returns\repairs.
* Maintain records in GSI and stock sheets of items received, issued for use, returned defective, returned for repair, or scrapped;
* To perform basic maintenance checks on forklifts
* Undertake driving duties as required;
* All tasks to be carried out in a safe and correct manner and as per company procedures;
To actively participate in the reduction of Deviations from Standard reported
each month on Health, Safety or Environmental Grounds, as per ALSTOM
procedures;
* To adopt the Ways of Working (WOW) Behaviours in your day to day working, as per ALSTOM Guidelines;
