Your Mission
This team executes Turbomachinery Control projects all over the world. With
projects control including Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines, Generators and
Compressors Controls in different industries, mainly in petrochemical, Oil and
Gas and Power Generation.
The Cairo Turbomachinery team is unique in that and supports all the regions
that include EURA, APAC, NA, LAO, MENA and Africa to provide our control
solutions from design phase till startup and commissioning.
Your Role - Magic happens when you bring great people together!
* Working within a project team, the Application Engineer ensures the timely delivery of the agreed technical scope of supply as defined by the Lead Engineer.
* System design and implementation for control logic strategies and HMI interface within the project team.
* Interprets customer technical specifications and generates strategies for implementation in engineering.
* Assists customer in defining detailed application, system, and hardware requirements.
* All aspects of application engineering, including and not limited to: Define and configure sequential, continuous and FB logic from client P&IDs and technical descriptions and transfer into the Basis of Design document (BODD).
* Ensure technical compliance to customers' specification relating to assigned areas of work.
* System specification, design, implementation, configuration for SE product and 3rd party supply.
* To define the system network, system sizing and memory loading.
* Ensure technical compliance to customers' specification relating to assigned areas of work.
* Technical co-ordination of client factory/site acceptance tests.
* Works from internal and customer documentation to implement applications and control strategies to meet requirements.
* Develops the software and all necessary documentation to meet requirements of the application specifications.
* System Commissioning, responsible for on-site engineering, start-up, and machine commissioning.
* External Supply consults with 3rd party vendors to define technical requirements and interface.
* Responsible for the internal testing of the agreed procedures.
* Responsible for the development of the software and all necessary documentation to meet requirements of the application specifications.

**Qualifications

About You**
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or
Aerospace Engineering.
Experience:
* ‎1 to ‎2 years of experience in Process Automation, Control, Instrumentation or Turbomachinery in general.
* Preferred experience with Triconex products software and hardware.
* Preferred experience within different GUI platforms, Intouch, Vijeo, Machine Scada Expert.
* Preferred minimum experience with Foxboro distributed control systems (DCS)
* Preferred experience with SE process automation products M580, M340
* Preferred experience with instrumentation and field activities.
Requirements:
* Basic programming skills.
* Good mechanical background and knowledge
* Fluent spoken and written English
* Very Good team player
* Ability for self-study.
