Operations Shared Service Centre that partners with our Operating Companies to
deliver excellent services across the complete employee lifecycle. We are
looking for colleagues to be part of our team and help us establish this new
People Operations Centre, working closely with colleagues across the region
and with our head office in Amsterdam.

What 's the role?
People Operations Advisor
Location: Cairo, Egypt
First points of contact for employees and managers, responsible for the
efficient and effective resolution of routine requests and inquiries. Ensures
customer satisfaction and adherence to SLAs. Reporting to the People
Operations Team Lead
Key responsibilities:
* Advice & Support: First point of contact for People Function related inquires and requests from employees and managers ("Tier ‎1"). Provide advice across the complete employee lifecycle. Solve requests comprehensively, safeguarding the employee experience with empathy
* Transactions : Process routine requests across the employee lifecycle taking a "first-time right, on time, in full" approach. Adhere to (data) standards, processes and policies without losing the "human touch"
* Case Management : Assume responsibility for the full documentation and resolution of cases. Proactively manage the expectations of internal and external stakeholders
* Knowledge Management : Actively use available documentation to provide consistent service. Identify gaps and play a key role in the maintenance and continuous evolution of the knowledge base
* Technology : Promote the full use of self-service technologies, educating employees and managers on the available solutions and encouraging them to resolve queries on their own where possible
* Continuous Improvement : Proactively raise opportunities for enhancements and continuous improvement. Maintain a continuous improvement mindset at all times


What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who brings:

* Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and build strong working relationships
* Drive to learn and develop



  • Work experience : Experience in the People Function, ideally with exposure to a range of specialisations (e.g. hire-to-retire administration, learning, rewards, etc.). Preferably in a global organisation and shared service centre environment

  • Functional skills : Good understanding of People Function processes across the employee lifecycle. Ideally experience with related enabling technologies (incl. Service Now and/ or SAP SuccessFactors). Ideally proven expertise in one more multiple specialisations within the People Functions

  • Languages : Excellent English in verbal and written communications. Other languages (French or Arabic) are a plus
