Supervisor I, Maintenance

POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the job holder maintains the equipment
and infrastructure in good working order to ensure optimal production
conditions. Performs developed preventative/predictive maintenance tasks. The
position holder will also be responsible for supervision of shift
responsibilities assigned to maintenance function.

PRIMARY DUTIES
* Operation and Maintenance of water pumps, electric motors and chemical feed machines; reads various charts, graphs, gauges, and meters; computes from readings and records the water volume pumped; collects lab samples and performs standard analyses and tests as required; adds chemicals as needed.
* Read electrical power, control circuit drawings & SLD,Safety in handling of LT & HT Switch gears, MCC panel maint. preferably ETP, HVAC, Compressed air plant, predictive and preventive maint.
* Repair and Air balancing.Air Cool and Water Cool central unit
* Hands-on involvement in trouble shooting & preventive maintaience for HT, LT Panel, Synchronization system, utility equipment. Air Compressor, Chiller, DG Set, Water Treatment Plant, Boiler, Hot oil system, Scrubber, AHU, CIP system, Dust Extraction System.
* Operation and Maintenance of Utility systems includes Thermic Fluid Heaters, Boiler, Air Compressors, colling Tower pumps, Diesel Generators, Effluent Treatment Plant, Firefighting Pump station.
* Maintaience of process equipment (Hygiene processing industry), PHE, Conveyor belts
* Excellent understanding in distribution power,DCS, control wiring & PLC wiring.Good Knowledge in instrument & ability to understand logic (Control Philosophy) , Ability to read P&ID,
* Spare Parts management, Knowledge in work permit system & electrical safety standard, ISO and Customer
Audit Documentation work
* Perform preventative maintenance service to machinery and equipment in a timely manner in line with the planning communicated by Manager.
* Check for problems on the equipment and/or infrastructure and organize the work, following the diagnosis of the problems found and estimated time to repair.
* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic assemblies, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operational manuals and manufacturer's specifications.
* Identifies potential equipment failures and take preventive action.
* Propose solutions for improvement of the production tools
* Document maintenance repairs performed (e.g. complete worksheets, check the water meters) and complete technical records (e.g. managing technical documentation, executing electrical and mechanical drawings)
* Carry out all operations in compliance with all legal and Company policies and procedures, regarding EHS, storage, housekeeping.
* Guide, train and supervise technicians on executing maintenance tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
* Certificate in BSc Electrical Engineering
* ‎5-‎7 years' experience in a similar role Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical. Knowledge in 5S & Food safety, ISO Documentation knowledge.
* Hands-on experience in HT, LT Panel, Synchronization system, utility equipment. Air Compressor, Chiller, DG Set, Water Treatment Plant, Boiler, Hot oil system, Scrubber, AHU, CIP system, Dust Extraction System. Experience in process equipment (Hygiene processing industry) is an added advantage.
* Able to read and interpret mechanical equipment drawings also to analyse and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic issues
* Able to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams and P&ID for various processes
* Availability to work in shifts and on call during weekends in case of emergencies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience in working pharma / Food industry.
* Having Electrical Supervisor's License would be an added advantage.
* Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, willing to improve systems and to adapt to new technologies.
* Be able to respond to demands and to make decisions in a short period of time.
* Team-oriented
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
* Must have organizational skills
