Responsibilities
* Ensure the isolation process application according to temporary operation rules.
* Ensure full verification for the isolation work permit application immediate reporting in case of not compliancy by isolation work permit Person In Charge,
* Daily activity report log as requested by Line Electrical Controller,
* Support to Line Electrical Controller to handle any Incident, Accident, near miss and recovery measures on zone controlled by Temporary Operation Organization,
* Take charge of overall Radio Communications to Line Electrical Controller, other Electrical Operation Nominated Person and OCC (when in operation).
* Perform any other duties assigned by the Line Electrical Controller related to the function,
* Maintain and develop his own level of expertise.
Educational Requirements
Desired Knowledge / Experience
* Aware of the electrical risks and able to ensure the safety of not electrical minded persons working in an electrical environment.
* Experience in performing manual and remote switching in electrical substations.
* Knowledge on electrical substations operation.
* Fluent in the English and Arabic languages.
* Electrical Power Supply Field certification as legally required to be employed as an Electrical Controller in a medium power substation.
Behavioural and Technical Skills / Competencies
* Electrical switching on site
* Experience in Railway Electrical Traction Operation (Third rail system).
* Experience in similar role in railway project is a preference title.
* EHS minded
* Autonomous
* Able to perform Shift duties
* Able to Report for Duty/Stay during Exigencies, extended, delayed T&C,
* Able to handle Incidents, Accidents, near miss and implement recovery measures.
