Manager Franchise Excellence

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

This role is responsible for maximizing the profitability of the Franchise
channel by managing projects to decrease complexity, increase productivity,
drive consumer-centric initiatives and activities that secure additional Net
Sales, and to ensure corporate compliance at field level for all stores across
Emerging Markets Central.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently take ownership of assigned project work to ensure the delivery of projects on time and within the agreed objectives.


• Build comprehensive project plans for each project including success measures from all stakeholders, commercial implications, and timelines.


• Obtain feedback and buy-in from Franchise partners and internal stakeholders on project drafts to ensure the "end product" is understood and supported.


• Track progress of ongoing initiatives.


• Support the Sr. Manager Sales Excellence to deliver on large scale strategic projects.


• Complete pre-project analysis, capturing current processes and practices across the different countries that EMC operates in, and seek for existing best-in-class resources from global, other markets, and other industry-leading retailers.


• Take ownership for compliance-related topics and documentations, in strong collaboration with Legal and Internal Controls.


• Drive a culture of sharing and adopting best practices, in strong collaboration with Own Retail and colleagues from EM Hub and other EM clusters.


• Lead key initiatives focused on Retail Operations enhancements to be implemented across the EMC Franchise store portfolio.


• Act as expert point of contact for internal stakeholders and Franchise partners for assigned Franchise Excellence topics.


• Other duties as requested by your Line Manager and/ or team members.

* EM DTC Excellence Hub Team
* EM Hub functions (e.g., BI Team)
* External stakeholders (e.g., Franchise partners)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Advanced user of MS Office suite of products (priority: PowerPoint & Excel)
* Strong influential skills and understanding of the organization
* Fluent in English
* Additional languages are an advantage

Requisite Education and Experience/ Minimum Qualifications:
* University Degree in Business, ideally with Sales focus or equivalent professional experience.
* ‎4-‎5 years of experience within Sales, Project Management, Business Development, Retail Operations or similar field
* Understanding of Retail, Project Management, Finance, Internal Controls
* Ideally, industry experience in Sports/ Fashion/ FMCG
