Finance Operation Head

JOB PURPOSE:
Financial evaluation to Sanofi entire financial projects and imperatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Job Description:
* Within Sanofi Corporate Finance, and as a part of the country finance leadership team, financial operation manager is responsible to provide a full financial support on leading strategic financial imperatives - seeking the overall affiliate efficiency and profitability goals .
* (S)he will work closely with finance management at local & group level (i.e.: Treasury, Finance BPs, finance operation, Internal control ) as well as extended finance teams represented with SBS & business transformation (procurement /A2R & tax /P2P/CI2C) and key business partners across the organization, to drive project implementation and interface across all affiliate entire process.
* (S)he will assist the CFO in addressing finance, accounting, treasury, tax, internal control and legal matters of geographical perimeter under supervision (statutory account, company assets and audit follow-up focus). Follow-up on timely answers/ validation from corporate functions and local advisors when required.
* (S)he will be the Finance representative across all company strategic projects, closely leading and providing oversight on assigned strategic projects & group initiatives in collaboration with the countries and regional teams, Lead a variety of different types of projects including operational efficiency improvements Setting financial profitability goals, business change model, systems integration, accounts committee, legal restructurings, etc.
* Together with the CFO, will provide oversight while divining the core financial processes for the business including financial reviews, managing annual operating plans, tactical plans, overall Business Unit or Product Strategies ,identifying and quantifying financial and operational R&O and provided ROI Investment , while supporting the annual arbitration of OPEX spend across various tactics and initiatives based on short- and long- term strategy.

JOB-HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Key "MUST HAVE" competencies, skills & experiences*
* B.S. in Accounting /Finance/ business administration / Economics ; CPA and/or MBA will be a plus.
Technical and interpersonal skills :
* +‎6 Considerable years of experience in finance, preferably in the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry
* Strong knowledge within the fields of : Budgeting, reporting ,forecast, planning ,Cash management ,Financial Valuation, cost optimization , value proposition and creation
* Strong awareness of macroeconomic trends and impacts to operational business & financial flows
* Ability to use various types of reporting and forecasting software (TM1, SAP,HFM)
* Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to present and provide guidance to senior management
* High level of autonomy /proactivity / agility/ transformational mindset / challenge status quo
* Ability to absorb high level of pressure/heavy workload -capacity to work in project mode & Multi tasking
* Proven capacity to work transversally with cross-functional partners, other Finance teams ,operational GBU, Supply Chain,TRM ,IA ,HR, Legal, Business Support, etc.
* Excellent time management /Customer focused and results orientated
