Responsibilities

• Have knowledge of Agile and Scrum


• Plan and manage all the activities of the software development or quality assurance team and set goals for each team member to ensure timely and high-quality delivery


• Monitor, evaluate and ensure the completion of tasks


• Asses, rebuild and train new developers and QA engineers to achieve department targets


• Act as mentor & coach for all team members to understand and improve their ability and motivation


• Consider resource needs including people, systems requirements, and technology and identify critical action items and develop/implement appropriate plans to meet company needs


• Provide regular and timely reporting of team activities


• Create and/or enhance development processes and practices


• Develop short and long term strategies to increase team output capacity and quality


• Communicate with Product Management, System Integration and C-Level to collect feedback and provide updates

* Java, Spring boot
* PostgreSQL and MongoDB

Precondition:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Comp. Science/IT preferred)
* ‎10+ years of experience in Industry most in Application development
* Knowledge of software development processes for Java Projects and procedures to understand the team needs
Preferred:
* Certifications in Agile
* Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, SAFE agile, etc
* Telecom Domain experience - Engagement Management, Party Management, Core Commerce Management and Production domains of TMForum Standards

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Monitor, evaluate and ensure the completion of tasks


• Asses, rebuild and train new developers and QA engineers to achieve department targets


• Act as mentor & coach for all team members to understand and improve their ability and motivation, addressing team dynamics and establishing an environment where the team can be effective


• Working in coordination with other scrum masters to resolve dependencies, address risks in program level SAFE agile framework
  Tracking and recording various metrics and reports like burn down chart,
  defect density etc

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Degree or higher degree in software engineering or related technical discipline
