Job Description



  • Strong technical background in application support and operations management, with experience in leading teams to ensure the highest levels of application availability, performance, and reliability.

  • The Application Support and Operation Lead will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of our applications, leading a team of support engineers, and ensuring that our applications meet the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders

  • Manage a team of application support engineers, providing guidance and leadership to ensure that the team is delivering high-quality support to our customers and internal stakeholders

  • Oversee the operation of our applications, ensuring that they are available, performant, and reliable

  • Identify and resolve application issues, working closely with development teams to ensure that issues are addressed in a timely manner

  • Monitor application performance and availability, identifying and addressing potential issues before they become critical

  • Develop and implement procedures and processes to ensure the smooth operation of our applications

  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that our applications meet the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders

  • Manage relationships with vendors and third-party providers to ensure that we are receiving high-quality support and services.

  • Develop and maintain documentation related to application support and operations.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve our application support and operations processes and procedures.

  • Manage communication with stakeholders to identify improvement areas, with presenting multiple alternative plans & solutions.

  • Establish sales channel opportunities with strategic vendors within the marketplace to expand overall offerings

  • Conduct awareness session to the project team to explain project scope and objectives.

  • Lead a learning environment, where lessons are learnt, shared, and turned into explicit knowledge for future reference.


Personal Skills



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • ‎7+ years of experience in application support and operations management

  • Strong technical skills in application support and operations management, with a deep understanding of application architecture and infrastructure

  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in leading teams to deliver high-quality support and services.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

  • Experience in using incident management and change management tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA.

  • Experience in working in a ‎24/‎7 operational environment.

  • Experience in working with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes, with experience in implementing ITIL processes in an operational environment.

  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell

  • Experience in using monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or Datadog.

  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

  • Experience in using configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef.


Technical Skills



  • A minimum of ‎15 years of related experience
    - ‎2 - ‎4 or more years in Developing/Delivering Solutions for Mega Projects
    and System Integrations

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred Computer Science or Engineering
