Khalifa Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology has a position for
Bioinformatic Scientist who will be responsible for development and execution
of software for advanced data analysis tasks. Research goals will be
identified through collaboration with multidisciplinary team (plant
biologists, molecular biologists, geneticist, population geneticist, and
computational biologists. Fulfillment of this responsibility requires
experience in a Linux computing cluster environment, programmatic database
queries, management of large data sets, data mining, statistical analysis, and
strong scientific communication skills.
Minimum Qualification
Qualifications requiredA PhD or M.S and 3 years of experience in
bioinformatics, computer science, mathematics, physics, genetics, statistics,
computational biology, or relevant field is required
