Major Duties and Responsibilities
A. Major Duties and Responsibilities
1. Oversees the Repair and Return and Warranty Claims portion of supply chain
management.
2. Makes recommendations to improve productivity, processing warranty claims,
quality, and efficiency of tracking/operations; coordinates and resolves
issues.
3. Maintains 100% accountability of all supplies, equipment and supply
records under his control.
4. Controls ordering, purchasing, inventory control, and distribution of
major end items, spares and consumables.
5. Provides input to the forecast planning function using inventory levels
and product demand to estimate output; works with OEM or authorized repair
facility and customers to determine optimal inventory levels based on demand
and the Repair & Return TAT.
6. Responsible for overseeing Repair & Return warehousing, shipping,
receiving, and handling of materials;; assists in coordination of day-to-day
operations of organization.
7. Provides input on the development of quality standards and protocols for
quality assurance testing; assists in the design and implementation of
policies and procedures for repair and return items.
8. Supports the planning and use of the IMS & IMOPS; interprets results using
a variety of techniques; generates reports.
9. Assists in the performance of inventory cycle counts; researches missing
parts to find current locations; ensures all warehouse personnel follow
policies and procedures for inventory-handling.
10. Assists in the development, execution and coordinates Environmental
Compliance with required federal/KSA and local government organizations IAW
PME regulations and DoD/USA regulations when applicable.
11. Provides repair and return reporting status to the appropriate chain of
command detailing the repair and return of equipment, TAT, repair costs,
shipment costs, acquisition costs.
12. Provides recommendation to the chain of command based on the historical
cost for the repair and return of repair parts.
13. All other duties as assigned.
B. Independence: Authority to select and implement goals and objectives within
the execution of duties and responsibilities.
C. Supervisory Responsibilities: Limited.
Minimum Qualifications
A. Education Level: High School Diploma or equivalent required; or military
training preferred.
B. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of broad-based experience in the fields of
material coordination, supply, distribution, and inventory accountability
required.
C. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements:
1. Former US Army NCO (MOSs 92A, 92Y, 92Z) preferred.
2. Previous experience handling inventory and using bar code equipment is
preferred.
3. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and
PowerPoint.
4. Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and
courteous manner.
E. Possess a valid driver's license.
