Basic Functions
Responsible for the executing the vision of Vinnel Arabia's vendor management.
Primary focus will be determining best methods to leverage highest performance
from suppliers to execute goals of the department. The role will drive clarity
of performance expectations to the supply chain network and ensure suppliers
are held accountable to Vinnell Arabia standards. The role will help the
Procurement and Subcontracts team execute the mission to preserve and protect
supplier management while minimizing losses.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
A. Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Maintain all aspects of the supplier relationship between the vendor and
Vinnell Arabia
2. Monitors and updates supplier key performance indicators [KPIs], analyzes
cost performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase
effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
3. Engages the management of key suppliers to initiate appropriate
improvement to achieve and sustain high levels of performance.
4. Act as a liaison between management and the supplier network to resolve
disputes.
5. Manage and maintain all aspects of the vendor on-boarding process, which
will include: supplier registration and follow up, any access to vendor
portals, screening and running vendor reports, and approvals.
6. Evaluate supplier scorecard reporting in order to assess supplier
performance.
7. Acknowledge supplier Purchase Orders as well as follow up with payments
and payment status.
8. Generate and produce reports from ERP system to highlight any and all
aspects of vendor data analysis, including: spending reports, purchase
requisition reports, purchase order reports.
Minimum Qualifications
A. Education Level: Baccalaureate degree. Degree in Business Administration or
a related field of study preferred.
B. Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Procurement or a
department.
C. Specific knowledge, skill, ability, requirements: Able to demonstrate
success in a relevant field to include performance, productivity, engagement,
and process improvement. Aptitude for willingness to learn.
D. Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. Will also
need excellent verbal and written communication skills.
E. Positive interpersonal skills for supplier and customer related interface
and problem resolution situations. Possess business acumen, high degree of
professionalism, punctual, team-player, cooperative attitude, calm under
pressure, able to handle stressful situations in a mature manner, ability to
multi-task, customer oriented, and unquestionable integrity.
F. Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, able to multi-task, make
decisions in timely manner and display strong interpersonal skills.
G. Understanding of the technical, manufacturing, or supply chain requirements
for platforms or systems being delivered to US Government.
