Objective:
To define, review, update, and enhance the Change and Release Management
policy, process, and procedures.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
Apply CHM methodology in order to assist the team in documenting management
processes and procedures
Validate, Assess the change requests.
Capable of measuring the effectiveness of CHM activities.
Liaise with the change requestor for business and technical queries and issues
if any.
Coordinate and communicate with the other impacted teams prior to submitting
the change request for approval.
Analyze, research, propose changes to, develop, and monitor the milestones to
support accuracy and consistency within the project roadmap
Ensure all necessary communication; documentation and testing are done prior
to approval
Ensure post-implementation review is done.
Ensure the change record is updated with correct information.
Prepare and send announcements, and notifications to business users.
Manage change and release requests lifecycle.
Conduct assessment meetings with all impacted stakeholders.
Provide constant guidance on areas of improvement and potential risks.
Capture relevant data and define metrics for success
Stay abreast of best practices in CHM.
Lead evolution and continuous improvement of change methodology.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field (or
equivalent).
At least 10 years of experience in the Change and Release Management field,
preferably in the technology industry.
Professional Certifications in IT Change Management/ ITIL Certification.
Professional Certification in Change Management such as PROSCI, CCMP, or APMG.
Experience in ITIL processes.
Experience in handling infrastructure and application change requests.
Capable of measuring the effectiveness of Change management activities.
Experience in any ITSM tool.
Experience in JIRA Application.
Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
Strong cross-team collaboration skills.
Creative approach to resolving issues and root cause identification skills.
