We are recruiting a Finance Analyst to work within a team, reporting to the
Middle East team based in UAE (Dubai). This person will be an important and
trusted business partner to all functions in their market. The role is
responsible for the statutory controllership and accounting function to
support of all activities of the AVEVA in Saudi Arabia.
The ideal candidate should have outstanding accounting skills and proven track
record of IFRS and local GAAP in multinational companies, preferably in ERP
environment. They should be a fluent Arabic speaker.

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Statutory and management accounts: Revenues, Employment costs, Overheads, Commissions, Bank accounts.

  
  


• 
  

  Month end / Half year / Year end closing: Balance sheet control, accruals follow up, costs allocation, interface with consolidation systems, IFRS reporting.

  
  


• 
  

  Statutory compliance: DZIT requirements, VAT requirements, GOSI requirements, etc.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure quality and quantitative management and ad-hoc reporting (consolidation package, forecasts, etc.)

  
  


• 
  

  Payroll management (with the assistance of our external provider)

  
  


• 
  

  Tax and Fiscal management: coordinate Monthly, Quarterly and annual tax returns (supported by local tax advisors when needed)

  
  


• 
  

  Admin: company car, travel expenses, etc.

  
  


• 
  

  First point of contact for the local authorities, auditors, local vendors

  
  


• 
  

  Works closely with the Sales, Commercial and Legal teams to support the business and revenue management

  
  


• 
  

  Point of contact from AVEVA to customers in the case of invoice submission and SES (Services Entry Sheet)

  
  

Skills and Qualifications:

• 
  

  Bachelor or Master's degree in finance/accounting.

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum of ‎6 years of experience (post-qualification) with an emphasis on accounting preferably working with large multi-national company

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent knowledge of IFRS

  
  


• 
  

  Statutory compliance (legal/tax/social requirements)

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent inter-personal and communication skills

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to deep dive into data, existing processes, people in order to identify issues and opportunities - in-depth experience with Controlling concepts

  
  


• 
  

  Meet deadlines while managing multiple projects and able to manage stress

  
  


• 
  

  Strong team player, who can operate globally and cross-functionally, taking ownership and demonstrating self-initiative (hands-on approach)

  
  


• 
  

  Fluent English and Arabic required (verbal/written)

  
  


• 
  

  Comprehensive use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of Oracle Financial Applications and HFM would be desirable.
