Basic Functions
Assists in administration of the overall physical security and safety program.
Liaises with MNG on behalf of the security coordinator in his absence.
Develops and recommends operational procedures and policies. Assists in the
identification badge process for VA employees and sub-contractors requiring
access to the MNG controlled locations. Act as translator/interpreter with
regards to security policies and programs as they pertain to the Aviation
Directorate and Vinnell Arabia. Will support the Security Coordinator in all
tasks related to his roles within Vinnell Arabia and the overall security
program.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
A. Duties/responsibilities:
1. 1. Responsible for conducting site reviews, writing audit/review reports,
reviewing findings, and making recommendations line management and /or their
security coordinators/Liaisons.
2. 2. Monitors and reports unit performance on key security issues and
programs.
3. 3. Establishes/maintains robust customer relationship to ensure complete
understanding of customer processes to enable the delivery of viable security
responses.
4. 4. Responsible to perform Training information technology IAW local
procedures
5. 5. Responsible for providing leadership, advice and counsel to line
management on security policy and practices. Identifies exposures and to
recommend and develop corrective plans as appropriate.
6. 6. Responsible for supervision of subordinate members on team in the
accomplishment of daily tasks and program growth.
7. 7. Perform other tasks as assigned.
B. Independence: Under general supervision of the Security Coordinator AFSS.
C. Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for the supervision and direction
of subordinate liaisons.
Minimum Qualifications
A. Education Level: (REQUIRED) High School Graduate. English Language
Technical School graduate, College preferred. Security related experienced
required or former graduate of Police / Military / Law Enforcement / Security
Academy.
B. Experience: (PREFERED) Minimum of 3 years of contract physical security
management or military / civil police security experience.
C. Specific knowledge, skills, ability: (REQUIRED) Saudi National. Former
experience in Installation/Physical Security. Ability to proficiently
communicate in both English and Arabic, writing concise reports, evaluations
and related documents to the extent of reading and understanding detailed
written orders, training, instructions and materials, and able to compose
reports in English and Arabic which convey complete information. Must be able
to act as an interpreter / translator translating written and verbal
conversations from Arabic to English and vice versa. Able to interact with
senior personnel of varied nationalities both military and civilian, with
emphasis in the security realm. Possess computer skills and a valid Saudi
Arabia driver's license. Be of good moral character as confirmed by a
thorough, comprehensive background investigation and police background check.
