Responsible for directing and overseeing the planning, implementation and
maintenance of quality control methods, process and operations of existing in-
house and sub -contractor's projects.
1. Manages resources, meeting deadlines, quality and quantity standards.
2. Provides guidance to effectively resolve deviations and out of
specification results and works closely with all the departments under
Utilities and Maintenance Division.
3. Coordinates required reports and/or updates as they relate to Quality
Control activities and completion of projects.
4. Oversees that all in-house and sub -contractor's projects comply with the
Hospital standards. Inspects and reports any discrepancies found in the job
site for all the projects undertaken by UMD. Reviews Puch list as submitted by
the different sections of UMD and sub -contractors and coordinates this with
Projects Management.
5. Ensures continuous improvement by identifying emerging trends,
technologies, and best practices and incorporate into operations, where
applicable.
6. Develops and manages quality control initiatives. Develops policies and
standard operating procedures.
7. Conducts long range quality planning.
8. Follows Hospital related policies and procedures.
9. Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as
applicable.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education**
B.S. Degree in Business Administration or any related field required
Four (4) years of related experience with two (2) years in supervisory
position required
