JOB PURPOSE
To design, implement, and monitor policies and procedures in order to provide
HR program support and expertise to all employees and management teams while
developing strategies to address the human resource implications of business
decisions and being responsible for overall strategic planning and management
of multiple functions including compensation, benefits, staffing, training,
and employee relations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Participates in the development of the departmental strategy in line with the functional strategy to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies across the Business Partner department. Ensures that departmental strategies and related strategic plans are developed and implemented, which are aligned with the vision and mission of Hikma.
* Participates in the development and recommends improvement on the business partner department policies, and procedures, and manages the implementation to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled.
* Oversees the consolidation and recommends the Business Partner department budget and monitors financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and potential areas of cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
* Leads and guides project management teams in the planning, organizing, management and control of various projects to ensure that the project cycle is completed meeting agreed project parameters (cost budget, timelines, scope and quality), standards and objectives.
* Fosters close partnerships with business leaders while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the execution of HR strategic initiatives that align with overall company goals. Consults with managers and teams in order to identify human resource implications of business decisions/needs and drives/implements programs to address said implications. Develops and maintains staffing and workforce planning strategies/programs for the employee population in order to meet the needs of the business. Analyzes training and development needs for various employee groups and partners with internal team members and external partners in order to ensure adequate training where needed. Develops and monitors all talent management programs (e.g., multi-source feedback, talent reviews, identification of high-potential talent, succession planning) in order to successfully manage employees Addresses the organizational development/change management needs of various employee groups/teams to ensure that systems are updated reflecting any required changes. Develops measurement systems in order to determine the impact of HR programs and their efficacy. Partners with the Total Rewards COE to ensure that positions are appropriately graded, that pay, and benefits are appropriately designed and managed. Provides expert guidance on all employment actions (e.g., hiring, termination, LOA, etc.) to ensure that appropriate labor laws and standards are applied Mentors and develops managers in order to build their skills to optimally lead their people.
* Manages the effective achievement of the Business Partner departmental objectives through setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff in order to maximize subordinate performance.
* Stimulates subordinates and contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account 'international best practice', improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
* Manages the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.
* Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the section in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude.
* Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor 's degree in Business Administration or related with preferably an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a recognized business school.
* Minimum Experience: 6-8 years of relevant experience in Human Recourses including at least 3 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
