**S3 Inc. 's subsidiary company S3 International requires a Financial
Controller to support FMS government contract in the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia.
There is a HIRE-ON Bonus with this position.
Description:
The Controller manages the overall direction and coordination of the contract
F&A operation in the host nation and supervises the F&A staff performing
accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, billing, and general ledger
functions.
Responsibilities:
* Manages day to day operations of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoice/billing, payroll, fixed assets and general accounting.
* Manages the company's use of DBA reports and inquiries, general ledger accounts and subsidiary accounts' reconciliation.
* Prepares for the new year, including setting up accounting and payroll calendar and making necessary changes to orgs and accounts.
* Responsible for the budgeting process and indirect rates structure of the company for current year and forward pricing rates.
* Responsible for calculating and/or reviewing forward pricing rates within proposals using financial forecasting methods.
* Reviews and updates company accounting policies and assists other departments in updating policies that are indirectly related to the F&A Department.
* Plays an integral role in closing the accounting records for the concluding year and with other accounting staff in preparation and review of monthly financial statements.
* Coordinates staffing requirements for different financial audits, such as tax audits, financial statement audits, and DCAA audits.
* Updates financial statement users with audited financial statements. Researches risk issues concerning DCAA, payroll, liability and other financial issues.
* Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information, prepare financial reports and forecasts, and conducts studies that provide detailed cost information.
* Provides leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable departments
* Updates financial statement users with audited financial statements.
* Researches risk issues concerning DCAA, payroll, liability and other financial issues.
* General ledger, accounts payable, time and expense and expense reimbursements, coordinates annual financial statement audit, and develops and manages financial controls in accordance with the company's procedures.
* Communicates financial metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting from a ‎4-year college or university; MBA and experience in international business transactions is desired.
* ‎15 years of experience in government business operations, with a minimum of ‎10 years in functional area of accounting and financial auditing.
* ‎1 year of previous experience with ISO ‎9100:2015 or AS9100, as well as ‎1 year experience working Government Funds Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS).
* ‎2 years of experience working with Cost Point Accounting System and strong operating knowledge of auditing processes.
* Previous US industry Controller and/or Chief Finance Officer experience desired.*
* Experience with Deltek Cospoint is preferred.
* Must be willing to deploy to Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a ‎12-month assignment and must be willing to work other than standard work schedule.
* Must also be willing to submit to a drug prevention screening test prior to deployment OCONUS.
* Ability to get a security clearance.
