Role/ Department:
Will be responsible on the NAV oversight for the portfolios and Supervise the
preparation of reports and activities in accordance with NT Policies and
Procedures
The key responsibilities of the role include:
* Oversight of a daily, monthly, and quarterly valuation of assigned portfolios, and ensure its compliance with clients requirements; reviewing the valuations of the fund accountants including daily communication with business partners belonging to multiple business lines and clients.
* Handle and maintain clients' requests and issues and ensure timely and accurate completion within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
* Participate in the on-boarding of new portfolios or clients.
* Provide management information to his/her line manager on a periodic and ad hoc basis.
* Ensure proper book keeping of records and documentation to ensure a high level of accuracy in clients records.
* Participate in product structuring meetings and provide feedback to ensure smooth processes. Ensure strict control of the assigned duties, liaising with internal departments and escalating to management to maintain a strong control process.
* Participate in all system implementations related to the department and recommend areas of improvement if applicable.
* Escalate un-reconciled breaks within the agreed SLA's.
* Liaise with internal audit to complete the semi-annual and annual audits & reports
* Carryout appropriate checks on own work and analysts' work, and resolve problems if any.
* Undertake ad hoc assignment as directed by line manager
Skills/ Qualifications:
The successful candidate will benefit from having:
Educational Background
Will have a tertiary level qualification from a recognized institution,
preferably accountancy qualification
Language Requirements
Will preferably be fluent in English and Arabic.
