Main Purpose

Supervise some Customs clearance tasks, and the responsibility of this role is
to clear the transactions of the extraction of materials/ products purchased
for the company from all ports and customs outlets in the country, in addition
to finalize all necessary official transactions and procedures.

Accountabilities

‎1.Ensure to obtain and renew import duty exemption licenses through timely
application and follow-up
action with the Ministry of Industry
‎2. Recover the value of customs exemptions from the Customs Authority and
start refund process once
shipment cleared and received
‎3. Following up the organization of customs data and necessary commitments
‎4. Maintain an updated timely accurate record for all figures like: costs,
number of shipments, weight,
containers, delay, clearance process average to make
‎5. Monthly audits of the clearance records file
‎6. Brokers invoices validation & processing
‎7. Consolidated monthly report with FIN for cost, deposit, etc. Yearly
estimated spends are around
$10MM, so ensure that the data is accurate and ready for any review with the
Customs audit from
Saudi Customs
‎8. Weekly reconciliation with Fin for Refund/Deposit.
‎9. Control delivery and offloading process, continuous data analysis data
ensure offloading efficiency and
save detention all the time
‎10. Updating the clearance flow chart if any fundamental changes in the
process, specifying the key
control/Risk and reviewing it with SC controller
‎11. Weekly consolidation with FIN to ensure a correct update for Exemption
and ensure refunding
1MM/yearly
‎12. Coordinating with Procurement and Project teams to ensure to obtain
required Exemption for raw
material (5MM)
‎13. Consolidated monthly report with Customs for no. of shipments, value &
weight for Potato & yellow
corn imported shipments to match the internal data with governmental data to
renew Export/import
license
‎14. Coordinate with stakeholder to ensure that offloading detention reduced
to zero
‎15. Establish KPI performance board for all suppliers

Key skills Required
* Good command of English language
* BA/BS required
* ‎2 years' experience
