Responsible for the continuous review, planning, development, implementation
and general effectiveness of the program and professional content. The goal of
this job is to ensure effective and efficient preparation of Allied Health
students for entry level careers.
1.Coordinates the development, implementation, evaluation and revision of the
program at the Hospital in liaison with the concerned hospital departments.
2.Assists with training need assessments.
3.Prepares health qualification programs for staff members who need continuing
education to maintain licensure, registration and certification.
4.Develops orientation programs for new students.
5.Supervises and critiques the instructional techniques used in different
programs.
6.Instructs students in different disciplines both in classroom and in
Clinical/Departmental setting.
7.Assists with selection of students and coordinates their scheduling and
interacts with and assists students in various related areas.
8.Serves as educational Consultant to Departmental Education Coordinators.
9.Coordinates guest speakers from other organizations.
10.Monitors each program for quality and performance improvement.
11.Participates in teaching in the allied health programs.
12.Evaluates and review programs as needed.
13.Implements quality assurance and utilization review system that monitors
the effectiveness of the program services.
14.Monitors compliance with the required protocol, standards, regulation and
hospital by-laws.
PhD, Masters or Bachelor's Degree in in a Health related field is required.
Four (4) years of related experience with PhD, six (6) years of related
experience with Master 's Degree or eight (8) years of related experience with
Bachelor's Degree is required.
Maintains active verifiable certification or registration within the
professions.
