SNC Lavalin is looking for Contract Administrator Expert.
Job Overview
* Review contract estimates and determine whether they seem reasonable and accurate
* Ensure that all records are accurate and up to date
* Write contract correspondence and other formal communications and notices
* Ensure Contractor compliance against Contract obligations
* Attend meetings to assess progress on the project, and take detailed notes to formally share with stakeholders
* Create regular status reports regarding progress
* Analyze contracts to proactively ensure Contractor compliance
* Lead internal teams to ensure adherence to the Contract
Responsibilities And Duties.
* Responsible for his or her own performance to ensure quality and timeliness in delivery.
* Ensuring his or her section is run to the highest professional standards, that all information is current, and that every member of the team is receiving the information he or she needs to fulfil their responsibilities.
* Provision of all the technical data to the Senior Manager Contract Administrator to be included in the project 's reports and such other reports, exercises or investigations required by the team or client.
* Preparation of estimates, and/ or presentations.
* Overseeing the maintenance of change management logs
* Participating in all change order negotiations.
* Preparing, as required, cost estimates for each potential change.
* Generating and processing necessary change order documentation.
* Ensuring that all stakeholders understand and adhere to contractual obligations; and our own deliverables
* Client facing and attendance of commercial meetings.
* Responsible for ensuring all correspondence is contractually compliant and up to date
* Financial and risk management and reporting input
* Insurance guarantees and bonds management.
* Monthly reporting and presentations.
* Dispute resolution participation.
Qualifications.
* Quantity Surveying or similar at least must possess 7 years of total experience and experience in Middle East 3 years
* Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
* Independent worker who can work well with minimal supervision.
* Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
Knowledge & Experience.
* Working to the highest professional standards, that all information is current, and that every member of the team is receiving the information he or she needs to fulfil their responsibilities.
* Provision of all the technical data to the Contract Administrator to be included in the project's reports and such other reports, exercises or investigations required by the team or client.
* Preparation of estimates.
* Overseeing the maintenance of change management logs.
* Reviewing and validating certification of contractor pay applications by consultant
Skills & Aptitudes.
* Experience working with and managing contracts.
* Knowledge and understanding of various types of Contract
* Knowledge and understanding of the legal requirements involved in specific contracts.
* Attention to detail and ability to notice errors.
Additional Project Requirements.
* Very good spoken English.
* Very good written English.
* Advantage to communicate in Arabic.
* Ability of other languages.
* Saudi National is preferred
